October was a great month at McKinley! Thank you to all that attended our fall festival, donated candy to our candy monster, helped with vision screening, supported our fundraiser, and had their students participate in red ribbon week!
Fundraiser
We should be getting popcorn delivered to the school next week. We will announce the winners of the students who sold the most and received the most donations on Wednesday, November 9. We did meet our goal!! Mr. Taylor will dress up as a Turkey to hand out prizes. We will also be having our goal dance party. Have your student wear white or neon that day!
Turkey Trot
We are excited about the Turkey trot this year! Rain, snow, or shine we will be running on November 9. Here is the schedule of when your student will be running. We also need volunteers to help that day. Please sign up and help if you can!

Yearbook Cover
All 5th-grade students can submit a drawing to be this year's yearbook cover. Theme: Better Than Gold. Spelling Matters! Turn these in by December 2nd.
PTA Meeting is on Monday, November 7 at 9:00 am. You do not have to be a member to attend. We would love for you to attend if you are interested.
